Why Work Here?
You will work in a temperature-controlled facility with a clear path for advancement, including opportunities to move into higher-level roles. The organization offers paid holidays, additional floating holidays, and a generous vacation package of 120 hours per year, along with 40 hours of sick time annually. Time-off benefits are available from day one and accrue over time. You will have access to tuition assistance and a competitive 401(k) program, including a company contribution of 2% regardless of your own contribution, with matching up to 6%. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage is available, with a 30-day enrollment window and coverage backdated to your first day of employment. This environment supports long-term career growth, financial security, and ongoing development.
Work Environment
The role is based in a standard fabrication and assembly facility divided into fabrication and assembly areas. The fabrication area includes a large laser cutting machine, deburring stations, brazing stations, and workstations for basic hand tool tasks. The main production area is the assembly area, where units move on carts from station to station rather than on conveyors. The assembly area is organized but can feel somewhat cramped due to the size of the units. The facility is temperature controlled, although employees may still feel warm because protective arm sleeves are required. The position operates on two primary shifts: a first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and a second shift from 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., both with mandatory overtime on Fridays as needed. Personal protective equipment is strictly enforced throughout the plant: employees must wear their own steel-toed shoes, as well as company-provided safety glasses, protective cut sleeves, and cut-resistant gloves. The dress code requires cotton, canvas, or denim pants worn at the waist and belted if needed; sweatpants, spandex, and nylon pants are not permitted. Hoods may not be worn over the head while working. Overall, the environment emphasizes safety, structure, and consistent production processes.
