Job Description

Johnson & Johnson seeks experienced electrical technicians for manufacturing support at its Jacksonville facility. The role combines expert-level electrical maintenance and repair of automated equipment with hands-on manufacturing support to ensure continuous production and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain PLC-controlled equipment, control panels, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, HMIs, and robotic systems
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and identify reliability risks with corrective actions
• Support equipment installation, debugging, qualification, and production start-up
• Execute manufacturing technician tasks including clearing jams, loading materials, and routine equipment cleaning
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for equipment non-conformances

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years electrical, industrial, or technical maintenance experience
• Electrical Journeyman license or equivalent apprenticeship completion
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, sensors, drives, control panels
• Ability to read schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking in fast-paced production environments
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends
• Physical capability to lift 25 lbs and perform manufacturing tasks
