Are you an experienced payroll professional who excels at managing high-volume, complex payroll for a large workforce? We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic healthcare operations team in Roseville, CA!
This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working partially from home while playing a critical, hands-on role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. You will manage end-to-end payroll workflows for a large enterprise of over 20,000 employees, navigating California labor laws, final termination pay rules, and union collective bargaining agreements. If you bring strong expertise in Workday Payroll, Kronos, and high-volume data reconciliation, this contract opportunity is the perfect platform to apply your expertise.

Responsibilities
Position Summary: Execute full-cycle, end-to-end payroll processing for a large, complex healthcare organization. Maintain compliance with California labor laws, union contracts, and internal policies using Workday Payroll and Kronos.
Key Responsibilities: - Process end-to-end payroll for an enterprise population of 20,000+ employees.
- Execute California final termination payments within strict statutory timelines.
- Calculate and reconcile union payroll according to collective bargaining agreements.
- Utilize Workday Payroll and Kronos to process transactions and resolve pay discrepancies.
- Maintain complete payroll records and assist with compliance audits.
Requirements: - 2+ years of recent end-to-end payroll processing experience.
- Proven experience handling large-volume payroll (20,000+ employees).
- In-depth knowledge of California payroll processing and final pay regulations.
- Hands-on proficiency with Workday Payroll and Kronos.
- Union payroll processing experience required.
