Responsibilities

• Design, build, ship, evaluate, monitor, and maintain production AI features, multi-agent systems, automations, and internal tools.
• Develop production Python services, APIs, scripts, data pipelines, and third-party system integrations.
• Build responsive, performant, and accessible TypeScript and React front ends using Next.js.
• Create and maintain page layouts, component libraries, and scalable design systems across design and code.
• Improve Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse performance through code splitting, image optimization, caching, CDN configuration, and server-side tuning.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, environments, Git workflows, code reviews, branching, releases, backups, and rollback strategies.
• Harden applications using least-privilege roles, secret management, WAF/CDN rules, and OWASP Top 10 mitigations.
• Maintain and extend WordPress properties, including themes, plugins, and content components.
• Integrate marketing automation, CRM, analytics, tag management, customer data, experimentation, lead routing, attribution, conversion tracking, and consent systems.
• Automate marketing operations while determining where human review and approval are required.
• Partner with Marketing and other stakeholders on requirements, roadmaps, user stories, acceptance criteria, progress, trade-offs, and timelines.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, confidentiality requirements, and HIPAA requirements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience building and shipping production software and digital experiences across front end and back end.
• Production Python expertise with services, APIs, scripts, data pipelines, common libraries, and third-party integrations.
• Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript skills with production React and Next.js experience.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping agentic systems using frameworks such as CrewAI, Mastra, LangGraph, or LangChain, including orchestration, tool calling, retrieval/RAG, memory, state, and structured output.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs, engineering prompts and context, evaluating output quality, and working with MCP servers, vector databases, and embeddings.
• Hands-on marketing technology experience with Marketo or another marketing automation platform, Salesforce or another CRM, GA4, tag management, campaign instrumentation, attribution, lead flow, and consent.
• Working WordPress proficiency, including custom themes and plugins, Gutenberg blocks, ACF or equivalent, PHP, and MySQL.
• Ability to write semantic HTML and modern CSS using Flexbox and Grid, with familiarity with Tailwind or Bootstrap.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
• Database fundamentals with Postgres or MySQL, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Core Web Vitals, accessibility implementation and testing to WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA, Git workflows, CI/CD, Docker, deployment, CDN, and caching.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and design tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including responsible and secure use.
• A publicly accessible GitHub profile, personal website, or professional portfolio containing code samples and at least one shipped agentic or AI-powered project.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, human-computer interaction, graphic design, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred qualifications include Workato, n8n, Zapier, FastAPI, Pydantic, pandas, LLM evaluation frameworks, Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify, GEO/AEO, Sitecore, Node-based tooling, Jest, Playwright, Cypress, PHPUnit, REST, GraphQL, privacy, consent management, HIPAA, and security experience.

Benefits

• Base compensation is $95,800–$120,000 USD, with potential performance-based incentives.
• Benefits may include health insurance, life insurance, company-paid disability, 401(k), and 18+ days of paid time off.
• Less than 5% local travel is expected, usually for training purposes.
• The position is sedentary and primarily indoors; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, and immigration sponsorship is not available.
