Responsibilities

• Design, build, ship, evaluate, monitor, and maintain production AI features, agents, automations, and internal tools.
• Develop Python services, APIs, scripts, data pipelines, and integrations between enterprise systems.
• Build performant, responsive, accessible front ends with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Create page layouts, component libraries, and scalable design systems across design and code.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse performance using code splitting, image optimization, critical CSS, caching, CDNs, and server-side tuning.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, environments, code reviews, branching, releases, backups, and rollback strategies.
• Implement security controls including least-privilege access, secret management, WAF/CDN rules, and OWASP Top 10 mitigations.
• Maintain and extend WordPress properties, including custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks.
• Integrate marketing automation, CRM, analytics, tag management, customer data, experimentation, lead routing, attribution, conversion tracking, and consent systems.
• Partner with Marketing and other stakeholders on roadmaps, user stories, acceptance criteria, timelines, trade-offs, and cohesive brand experiences.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, confidentiality requirements, and HIPAA obligations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience building and shipping production software and digital experiences across front end and back end.
• Production expertise in Python and strong proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, React, and Next.js.
• Hands-on experience building agentic systems with CrewAI, Mastra, LangGraph, or LangChain, including orchestration, tool and function calling, retrieval or RAG, memory and state, and structured output.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs and using prompt and context engineering, evaluations, MCP servers, vector databases, and embeddings.
• Hands-on marketing technology experience with Marketo or another marketing automation platform, Salesforce or another CRM, GA4, and tag management.
• Working WordPress proficiency, including custom themes and plugins, Gutenberg blocks, ACF or equivalent, PHP, and MySQL.
• Ability to write semantic HTML and modern CSS, with familiarity with Flexbox, Grid, Tailwind, or Bootstrap.
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries across design and code.
• Solid database fundamentals with Postgres or MySQL, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated Core Web Vitals optimization and WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility implementation and testing.
• Experience with Git workflows, environments, CI/CD, Docker, deployment hosts, CDNs, and caching configuration.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and design tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including responsible and secure use.
• Publicly accessible GitHub, personal website, or professional portfolio with code samples and at least one shipped agentic or AI-powered project.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Workato, n8n, Zapier, FastAPI, Pydantic, pandas, LLM evaluation frameworks, Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify, Sitecore XM/XP, Jest, Playwright, Cypress, PHPUnit, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, GEO/AEO, privacy and consent management, and HIPAA considerations.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, human-computer interaction, graphic design, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits

• Base compensation range is $95,800–$120,000 USD, with potential performance-based incentives.

• Less than 5% local travel is expected, usually for training purposes.
