A leading digital streaming network seeks a Sr. Manager, Technical SEO, Streaming to lead technical SEO strategy and implementation across large-scale streaming platforms.
Sr. Manager, Technical SEO, Streaming Responsibilities:
- Lead technical SEO strategy and execution across enterprise streaming websites by overseeing crawl monitoring, technical audits, issue triage, release validation, site health, and optimization initiatives to improve search visibility and AI Discovery performance.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, Marketing, Analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders to integrate SEO requirements into product roadmaps, platform migrations, feature development, release processes, and ongoing engineering initiatives while serving as the primary technical SEO resource.
- Develop technical SEO documentation, including product requirements, technical specifications, Jira tickets, Confluence documentation, QA plans, implementation guidance, workflows, and best practices to support scalable execution across enterprise platforms.
- Analyze crawl data, server logs, search performance metrics, and technical SEO signals to identify risks, prioritize recommendations, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize crawlability, rendering, indexation, structured data, JavaScript SEO, and international SEO implementations.
- Monitor evolving SEO, AI Discovery, web technologies, and search engine developments while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, and Security teams to improve crawler accessibility, governance, technical standards, and enterprise search performance.
Sr. Manager, Technical SEO, Streaming Qualifications:
- 5-8+ years of SEO experience with a strong focus on technical SEO.
- Experience working directly with Product, Engineering, and QA teams in Agile development environments.
- Experience managing technical SEO initiatives for large-scale, enterprise, multi-region, or global websites.
- Understanding of technical SEO, including crawlability, rendering, indexation, JavaScript SEO, canonicalization, redirects, metadata, structured data, XML sitemaps, pagination, internal linking, site architecture, and site performance.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, server-side rendering concepts, and how search engines crawl, render, and index JavaScript-based websites.
- Experience writing product requirements, technical SEO specifications, Jira tickets, Confluence documentation, QA plans, and implementation guidance.
- Experience using SEO platforms such as Botify, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools.
- Experience analyzing crawl data, server logs, search performance metrics, bot behavior, and technical SEO outputs to identify issues and prioritize recommendations.
- Understanding of international SEO, including hreflang, localization, regional URL structures, and global site management.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and analysis of large datasets.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress is preferred.
- Experience with Python, APIs, and automation workflows is preferred.
Shift:
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- May have weekend events.
