The Marketing Manager ensures campaigns support collection growth, retail traffic, market expansion, and consistent brand execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Channel Management & Campaign Execution

  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop multi-brand and marketing channel strategies, annual marketing plans, budgets, and market-launch initiatives aligned with collection goals, retail traffic targets, and operational capacity.
  • Maintain the multi-brand marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns, promotions, launches, and operational dependencies are clearly planned and communicated.
  • Support the Director of Marketing on the management of vendor-executed paid search and pay-per-click campaigns while implementing campaign coordination, execution, performance review, and optimization.
  • Manage day-to-day planning and execution across marketing channels, including SEO, paid media, social media, direct mail, email, SMS, signage, in-store marketing, field marketing, and physical asset branding.
  • Lead campaign development from concept through execution, ensuring timelines, creative, compliance, and operational readiness are met.
  • Provide strategic input and quality oversight for content, creator partnerships, campaign concepts, and creative designs, ensuring all deliverables align with brand positioning, messaging, visual standards, and campaign objectives.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Establish, track, and report on marketing KPIs related to donor acquisition, retail traffic, engagement, conversion, and campaign efficiency.
  • Analyze campaign and channel performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Monitor campaign expenditures against approved budgets and recommend reallocations based on performance and business priorities.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Directly manage and develop the Marketing Content Specialist through goal setting, workload prioritization, feedback, and performance management.
  • Manage external agencies and vendors responsible for creative development, media buying, print production, signage, and digital execution.
  • Establish clear expectations for timelines, deliverables, communication, and quality, ensuring work remains within approved budgets and aligns with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Monitor agency and vendor performance, addressing execution, timeline, quality, or brand-alignment concerns as needed.

Customer Experience & Escalated Service Management

  • Monitor customer-service workflows, including AI-enabled tools, and coordinate escalated donor and retail customer issues with appropriate operational leaders to support timely resolution and protect brand trust.
  • Analyze customer feedback, service trends, and field insights to recommend improvements to marketing communications and the donor and retail customer experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong strategic marketing leadership with the ability to balance high-level planning and hands-on execution.
  • Proven ability to increase donor acquisition, digital engagement, and retail foot traffic through integrated, performance-driven marketing programs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to staying current on marketing trends, evolving consumer behavior, platform updates, and channel-specific best practices, with the ability to apply relevant developments to campaign strategy and execution.
  • Proficiency and comfort using AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, support content and campaign development, analyze information, and streamline marketing workflows, with sound judgment regarding accuracy, confidentiality, brand integrity, and responsible use.
  • Strong project-management, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple brands, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance, identify trends, and translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of marketing analytics, digital advertising, social media, email/SMS, content-management, and CRM platforms.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, and external partners to deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Ability to interpret and apply marketing-related compliance requirements in partnership with the Legal Department.
  • Strong creative direction and brand stewardship capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, copywriting, and editing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control across creative, messaging, data, and physical marketing materials.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience required, with demonstrated success in performance-driven marketing environments
  • 2+ years of leadership experience required, including direct employee management and agency oversight.
  • Experience supporting a multi-brand retail, service, or operational organization across digital, field, and physical marketing channels strongly preferred.
